Good news, racists! Apparently White Supremacy Inc.™ will give you a get out of racist-asshat jail free card for having a picture of Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela on your business’ wall (and, you get to charge 700x normal rent on unimproved property if you can produce a dubious membership card to the NAACP!), even if you do something as mind-bogglingly racist as putting up a sign about President Obama nigger rigging health care in front of your bar.
Someone might want to inform dude that the NAACP buried that word back in 2007, so I imagine his membership has been revoked.

What upsets me most about this kinda nasty behavior is the reaction it gets from folks. Like that guy around 2:20 who says “I go by there, and I just think he’s a racist — I hate him.” Fighting fire with fire and all that jazz. We hate on him for being hateful. My first thought after watching this was “what a douche bag.” It’s so damn difficult to turn the other cheek (so to speak). Too much hate, too little love.
Agreed to an extent. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expressing your displeasure at something obviously messed up, though. I mean, you thinking “what a douche bag” isn’t on the same level as what this dude did, which in my mind openly invites hostility towards black folks. Is it? He *is* a douche bag if you ask me. Doesn’t mean I wish him any harm or anything like that. Just means I have no respect for him. Am I making sense?
For sure. I guess there’s a part of me that is really negative towards people like this… and “douche bag” disguises the level of that. I don’t wish him harm either… but I don’t know that I’d bother to pull his broken ass out of a burning building either. And that’s messed up.
